On Wednesday, a group from Memphis visited Thistle Farms. They are a part of an organization called Seek To Serve which is a leadership skills program designed to develop, enhance, and promote servant leadership for grassroots leaders. They discovered Thistle Farms through an internet search and were "awed by the concept, the women and the products!" Through a tour of Thistle Farms and one of the main residential houses, plus one on one conversations with founder Becca Stevens and some of the Magdalene graduates / Thistle Farms employees, they were able to get ideas for their own programs in Memphis, addressing the issue of homeless women and children.written by Carolyn Snell
